My oldest, bestest friend!

What an adorable picture I received in today's email. My oldest friend with her newest grandchild.
Sandy! Since 7th grade! We were 11 years old when we met. And that was over ??? years ago.
Nope. I'm not gonna say it. Oh my SANDY!!! Hasn't it been a long time?
And do I detect red hair on that child?

Coop'd Doop and me

This is my favorite picture. We're eyeball to eyeball.

Doni's Babies

Look at my beautiful mango tree. We just planted her last spring and she's so full of mangoes. They are about the size of a 50¢ piece right now.

This Ride Cost Her Also

Harold and I had to work and use both vehicles. Well, we just happened to have this lovely little scooter at the house and gave Deb the keys. SHE LOVED IT!!! Besides the weather, it was the highlight of her visit. We had it for sale and she said she was going home to think about it. Well, she wants it. She wants it! So we're preparing to ship this scooter to Milwaukee.

No Free Rides

And that's how it is when you come and visit me in vacation paradise.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

That's right. You have to earn your keep.

See the smile on her face? She thinks I'm joking. But she found out I wasn't. I put her rear to work immediately or it was go get a motel.

Actually, she just likes to keep busy. And she really made me feel guilty with all the work she was doing while she was here. Meet my dear friend, Deb, who came to visit me from Milwaukee, WI.

Oh. And she went home to an 80 degree temperature change. Ugh! That's right. From 80 degrees to 0. ZERO. UGH!

My 'silent' grandchildren

These are my son's two darlings. Their mother relented and let him have some pictures which he promptly sent to me. Sad to say, it's been over a year since I've seen them. Jake has curls just like his father and Leah's hair is a red as her father's. Both are cuties. I hope to see them one day soon.

And Over Christmas ...

... this picture was taken. Look at that baby girl. She just adores talking to grandma on the phone. She gets upset when the phone is taken from her.

Honduras, 2007

I've been active on the computer lately starting to make arrangements for this years trip to La Ceiba, Honduras. Here is a picture of our missionary host, Susan, that she sent me yesterday. She is holding Tutti Fruitti.
