He looks familiar. Kinda resembles my husband. But the date says Saturday, May 31st, and if it really is my husband, what is he doing on a ride when he's supposed to be at a championship practice? Huh? And I'm working, and, well, is it Harold? HAROLD? And who is that sitting beside him??? Looks female to me. (tee hee)

A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'

That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today, who no longer understand that fact.

Let's take a minute or two and thank God for our blessed country, and for all who sacrificed their lives that we might continue to live in freedom.

I was floated to another facility last night and this, along with a picture of someone's beloved dog, was posted on the bulletin board. I copied it, took a picture of the backyard memorial I made for Nugget, and now you have it.

Go Pistons!!!

The only game of the playoffs, Pistons vs Magic, that we lost. And we went to it. But that's OK. It was an experience to remember, we had a good time-AND-we won the series!

Pumped up for the Game

And it was all over in the first quarter when Chauncey pulled a ham string. Team Captain and point guard now injured and the Pistons fumbled through the rest of the game. But! It was still fun and I stood up to those Magic fans!!! Oh yes I did. You would have been proud of me!!!
